Pac’s Unconditional Love is my all time favorite 2pac song and it’s really close to being my favorite song period. So yo can imagine how I would feel if someone butchers the song…like this fool manages to do….I just threw up in my moufff a little bit. This one’s for pac! :

I played 2pac’s masterpiece live in Fullerton…
I am very happy that I had the guts to play this song live. Dear Mama by pac is one of my all time favorite songs. After the show people sought me out and really gave me props for my rendition of the song. And to be very very honest I was really proud of the fact that some of the brothers there really just put the stamp of approval on this rendition. I opened the set up with East of the city of angels, that went out to Mike (thanks for coming out). I love playing music… I love being able to have moments after the shows where people just really seem to be thankful that I shared this talent with them…Another person told me that she “felt it here…” and touched her chest. What a great night for music, what a grand stage in a little coffee shop on the other side of town.
I guess I owe “the O.C” and apology. I always thought only stuck up peeps lived out there (no offense white people), but I have been meeting some really cool artists and it feels good to have that comradery. Anyway, I’m making it my Thursday thing to perform at this joint(Max Bloom’s Cafe) so I’ll be going back weekly.

Alicia Keys- No one Acoustic Cover.
This is my cover of this great song by Alicia Keys. The tempo is a bit slower than the original and somewhat on the darker side in terms of feel. What’s interesting is that, in my opinion, Alicia’s composition feels much darker than it sounds…does that make sense? The woman is amazing.
One day at a time people.
